For the Ivy House.

Introduction.
                     Ivy House provides quality B&B accommodation just a THREE minute walk from the centre of Cirencester. Whilst we aim to meet the needs of all potential guests the house is a Victorian property and there are some features which might make access difficult for those with limited mobility. There are a number of steps upto the house which make access unsuitable for those who rely 100% on the use of wheelchairs. For guests with limited mobility we have one ground floor room and the dining room is also on the ground  floor.

 The National Express bus stop is approx 275 mtrs from the house.
 Kemble train station is 4 miles away ( 10 mins by car ) We can pick you up by prior arrangement.
There are a number of local taxi services that have accessible taxis. We cansupply contact details if required or we can make a booking for you.

Arrival & car parking.
                                    Please advise us of your anticipated arrival time so we can be here to welcome you. There is off-street parking for 4 cars at the front of the house.
The car park area is level and graveled. This area is lit by motion sensor lighting.
There are 3 steps which are 18/20/ & 15cm high and a short paved path leading to the house which is accessed by 3 more steps of 23/15 & 18cm. There is no handrail.
We will assist guests with luggage.

Main entrance.
                         The front door is 84cm wide, There is a bell push to the left of the door, On entry there is a small hallway. There is no reception desk, we meet all our guests and show them to their rooms. The floor covering is short pile carpet.

Public areas.
Hall,Stairs & Landings.
All floors are carpeted with short pile carpet. There is one ground floor bedroom to the right on entering the hall. There are 11 stairs upto the half landing, there is a handrail to the right. There is a bedroom off this landing. 6 more stairs lead to the first floor. There is a handrail to the right, 2 more bedrooms are off this landing.
The stairs are all18cm high,26cm deep and 84cm wide. Emergency background lighting is installed.

Wcs
Bedrooms are all en-suite, there are no public Wcs.

Breakfast room.
                          The breakfast room is situated on the ground floor and is accessed from the hallway.The doorway is 76cm wide and entry is level, there are 5 tables
75x 75 x 75 and 10 chairs ( without arms ). Special dietary requirements can be catered for by prior arrangement at time of booking. WE are not a nut free kitchen.

Bedrooms.
                  All bedrooms are en-suite, there are thermostatic controls on all radiators
( fans available ). All rooms have a hospitality tray with a selection of tea/coffee/fruit teas/chocolate/ biscuits. All rooms have a kettle/hair dryer/ clockradio and tv with remote control. All rooms have storage usually comprising wardrobe/chest of drawers & bedside tables. All our rooms are serviced daily. All the bedrooms have short pile carpet.

Bedroom 1. Triple/family room. Entrance 76cm. 2.85 mtrs x 4.60 mtrs Walk in wardrobe, 2 x beds 1 x double 1 x single, carpeted floor. Shower room 1.40 mtrs x 2.40 mtrs , 12 cm step into shower cubicle, screw taps.

Bedroom 2, Double.entrance 76 cm. 3.56 mtrs x 3.26 mtrs. 1 x double bed/ dressing table 1 x easy chair (rattan ). Carpeted floor. Shower room, 1.10 x 1.24, 12 cm step into shower cubicle, screw taps, lever tap on basin, tiled floor.

Bedroom 3. Twin, entrance 76 cm. 3.66 mtrs x 4.32 mtrs, 2 x single beds, 1 x easy chair ( rattan ) carpeted floor. Shower room, 1.93 mtrs x 1.83 mtrs, 28 cm step into shower cubicle, screw taps.

Bedroom 4. entrance 76 cm. 3.33 mtrs x 3.5 mtrs. 1 x double bed 1 x easy chair ( rattan ) carpeted floor. Shower room, 1.72 mtrs x 1.06 mtrs, tiled floor 10 cm step into shower cubicle, screw taps.

Laundry.

Laundry facilities are not available on the premises. We can offer drying facilities to Walkers/cyclists etc.There is a launderette in the town centre.

Shoping.
A wide range of shops/restaurants/cafes etc are available in Cirencester town centre, a walk of 2—3 minutes.

Aditional information.
WIFI is available ( free ). We welcome children at the Ivy House but we cannot accommodate pets. We will accommodate assistance dogs.
The fire alarm rings continuosly if evacuation is required. Evacuation procedures are provided in all rooms, there are fire extinguishers on the landing and in the hall.
A selection of local information is available in the dining room and in the welcome folders in each bedroom.
